Came across this cool plugin for jQuery called jParralax.

What does jParallax do?

Parallax turns a selected element into a 'window', or viewport, and all its children into absolutely positioned layers that can be seen through the viewport. These layers move in response to the mouse, and, depending on their dimensions (and options for layer initialisation), they move by different amounts, in a parallaxy kind of way.

Umbraco is an open source CMS created in .NET with C#.  Their slogan is "The Friendly CMS", and friendly it seems.   Their homepage lists plenty of features that one would expect to find in a CMS such as a built in WYSIWIG editor and an easy to use template engine.

Today is my last day at Continental Automotive.  Working here the past five years has been great, and I will not forget it.  Great team, great times.

It has been a good five years at Continental Automotive and they have treated me very well, but it is time to move on.  I bounced around different departments for three of the five years as an intern before finally settling into a permanent position as an Embedded Software Engineer. 

I will now be taking my career into a different direction as a .NET Developer.  I love creating applications for the Web and I really enjoy .NET.  So why not do it for a living?

As a note, .NET and PHP have their advantages and disadvantages, which is why I use both.

The .ME domain opened up for registration this morning and it looks like GoDaddy has a lot of confused/angry customers right now.  Several outlets are reporting multiple registrations of a single domain through GoDaddy. 

I myself attempted to grab a few and my order went through.  When I checked the whois through Dynadot I found that one of mine had been previously registered about an hour ago by someone else.  We will have to see out GoDaddy handles this one.
